Close-up orange cannon aiming into the tropical tank

The Cannon

The cannon is the control surface of Jackpot Fishing. You rotate aim, pick a fire rate the host allows, and spend stake on every shot that leaves the barrel.

Miss cost details sit on ammo cost. Weapons that replace or boost the basic shot sit on weapons.

What the Cannon Controls

Aim direction, when you fire, and which stake step rides on each bullet. Some hosts add auto-aim or target lock as separate tools. Those tools still spend ammo. They do not print a guaranteed kill.

Shot Timing and Burn Rate

Holding fire on a tough target drains the stack. Short bursts on small fish teach the cost curve. On a shared tank, pausing can let another cannon finish a fish you softened. That is part of the product, not a bug in this guide.

Cannon Versus Spin Button

A slot spin spends once per round decision. The cannon spends continuously while you hold fire. Players who arrive from reels often underestimate how fast a boss chase empties a balance.

FAQ

What does the cannon do?

It aims and fires shots that each spend stake at swimming targets.

Does every shot cost money?

On cash tables, yes. In demo, every shot spends credits.

Is auto aim free?

Usually not. Lock tools still burn ammo. Check the host menu.

Can the cannon beat RNG?

No. Better aim picks targets. Kill chance remains random.

Should I hold fire on bosses?

Only inside a pre-written ammo budget. Boss chases are optional burns.
